Older and Faster
It’s no News Bulletin that time moves more quickly as one gets older, is it?
Now, working at a new school with a new position, a position that never existed here before, the possibilities push the speed of my time here up to about Mach 3.
I shuffle and reshuffle my small pack of index cards I carry in my shirt pocket (or pants pocket on tie-less Friday), on which I have my top tasks and challenges written – I have almost no wireless access and no phone access inside the school building – so these are essential.
We have completed a quarter of the school year already. Time is just flying by.
